HISTORY

Karnes County Hospital District (dba Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital) was duly created by the legislature of the State of Texas under the authority of Section 9, Article IX of the Constitution of the State of Texas and the affirmative vote of the majority of Karnes County taxpayers.  The hospital opened October 15, 1975 and has been serving Karnes County residents since.

STAFF

The hospital staff consists of 75 full time employees which include professional and licensed nursing staff, laboratory technologists, radiology technologists, physical therapist, health information management specialists, pharmacy staff, clerical and secretarial staff, dietary staff, housekeeping and maintenance staff.  Also vital to our effort to provide quality care is our Pink Ladies Volunteer Auxiliary Staff.
